OUR MISSION

To build a program that fosters the development of athletes both on and off the field by teaching the values of commitment, hard work, discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship. This will be done by providing opportunities to athletes to play at the international level, receive top level coaching, be seen by scouts, work on community service projects that give back to the community, as well as guide them to promote individual growth in all areas of life. Off the field members of our organization mentor players to help them with personal development so that they can be successful in life as well as football. This can be tailored to the individual needs of each player

Driven With Purpose

The premise behind our program is to help our players reach the next level through consistently high-level competition. This objective looks different for each athlete: some are pursuing opportunities in the Indoor Football League, the European Football League, or the Canadian Football League; while others simply seek the chance to continue playing the game they love at a competitive level.

Coach Mangini began this program in the 1990s with the goal of giving Division II and Division III players a platform to showcase their talents. Under his guidance, the program has successfully placed athletes at every level of professional football, including more than 300 players in the Canadian Football League; several of whom have gone on to Hall of Fame recognition. Our organization’s reach is global: USA-FI alumni have gone on to play in countries such as Mexico, Egypt, Japan, and China, among others.

Our Initiatives

Team camps or youth camps align with the NFL Alumni goal of Kids First in giving back to the community.  USAFI was successful in taking football to the youth of the country in sharing knowledge with coaches’ clinics and well as hosting youth clinics.  We have maintained and shared coaching and player techniques with countries such as Columbia and several states throughout Mexico.  Covid unfortunately stalled the camps, but we look forward to getting the opportunity to share this great game with athletes from other nations and at home as we continue to move forward.

Our Communities

Community involvement is an area of continued growth for our group as we continue to grow in members.  We look forward to becoming a beacon of light for the development of football in the less fortunate communities, and countries. we will alao continue to work alongside the NFL Alumni for more future oppurrtunbite across the nation.
